PhotoCopier App Reviews

Dont waste yor money

Not worth the price. Effects are pretty useless.

Good stuff

I disagree with the previous reviewer. For $2 bucks this is great. The effects are subtle and may require some tweaking - but the overall feel and look are very cool. Requires some playing around with.

Useless

Totally useless app. Dont buy.

silly!

dont buy it...

Horrible

This should be free. Practically does nothing.

Great app!

If you love manipulating photos then you will love this app. Beautiful results.

great innovative app!

This is a must for all artists and art history majors. To be able to apply classic looks and brush strokes of the masters, is genius !! I love using it on the iPad !

good for stylizing pictures

I really liked this app. It is interesting to see how each model gives the same image a different style and mode, and there are so many models to try!

pleasantly surprised

I like whats going on here, especially with the photo or photo-process filters. The film results *feel* like real film -- thats the real draw, not whether or not its emulating a particular photographers look. Im not to crazy about the painting filters at all, and I think, quite frankly, this would still be a successful app without them. And its fast, which I like a lot. I have a few suggestions, though: Let us see a big version of the source image so we can get a better preview of what the app is trying to achieve. (Yeah, some of the source images contain nudity... Apple wont let that by, so that would need to be addressed.) Let us flip through the filters while looking our source image, so we can compare filters one after another. Let us set favorites --- there are *a lot* of settings and the lists are long. Favorites = shortcuts. Give us a few movie stills! :)

I didnt like this app.

I could find anything to like about this app. It made my photos grainy and dark. Thats it.

All the same

The effects seem to all boil down to textured color or black and white. I couldnt find any similarity to the source image style nor any real changes except for a slight color hue when trying different sources.

Love it!

This is a great photo app.

Not what it purports to be

This app promises to transform a photo into an image with attributes of famous artists or photographers. Frankly, I cant see that it does anything but add blotches, smudges and pixels to an image, none of which do anything but ruin the original. If you know nothing of art or photography, but like the words - buy it. Otherwise, not much to see here.

Keep your money

They got free apps that do the something not worth it at all nothing special

Useless

Dont waste your time on any photo effect apps. They are all useless. If you really need to add effects get Photoshop or something. These apps are totally useless and a waste if money.

Pretty great

This app crashes working with rather large images. That being said - its a great tool to turn your photos in something special. Its one of my essential apps especially when working with portraits.

Waste of $1.99

This has to be the worst app. All of the selections look so similar and its nothing you cant do with any other photo app. Dont waste your money.

Lame

All the effects look very similar. The photo gets darker and more grainy. "Analyzing the DNA" of great paintings is just hype. Dont waste your money!

Awesome!!!

Ignore the negative reviews they are from people who dont understand the App. I read one review that said all the effects were the same, not true unless you dont have a discerning eye, Ill admit some filters look quite similar but the ones that do actually have subtle differences depending on the source image. This is an App for photographers or graphic designers who use their iPhones for art. This is not a good app for point and shooters trying to make their crappy photos suddenly look good. This is an app for someone with a good eye wanting to replicate classic film looks to an already great shot. I applied almost all the effects one at a time to a great source image to compare and each one did unique things to highlights/shadows, tone, color, grain, texture, etc... I love the ability to apply infinite fine tweaking to my images. Most apps dont allow this much noodling. If you expect a one click fix this isnt for you. If you have an eye for fine art photography and you have Photoshop skills youll love this app.
